Robin Hood trailer 2012

Right now I am huddled in my closet, the doors closed and Yuliya and Lauryn snoring softly outside the doors. It is 11 something.. I couldn't get to bed.. Everyone else is conked. I have had to much excitement, and the best way for me to wind down is to write. However I'm sitting on a loud creak in the floor.. I hope I don't wake anyone up... Nahh. I can't go to bed without recounting the day. so here goes. but p.s, excuse bad grammar/spelling, it's almost midnight and I don't have spell check. ok. here goes.

This morning I awoke, feeling like it was any ordinary morning, but then it hit me... THEY'RE COMING HOME TODAY!. Once I got out of bed, i ate a cookie for breakfast, checked the computer and we all set to work. By 11 we had basically the whole house cleaned, laundry done, kitchen- EVERYTHING. It only took 2 hours. I had been praying, since I had woken up, about the afternoon to come. I was feeling excited and nervous, but That was soon washed away.

After cleaning, we ran errands and got flowers for the table. we were originally going to get balloons, but that did not work out. when we finally got on our way to the Marta, we were all very quiet. That is, until Matt starting asking who owned Canada and such. But I was mostly tuned out to that. I was to busy praying. I was nervous going there.. But I was full of confidence coming back.. When we got to the Marta, I was busy taking as many vids and pics as possible. When we got on the Marta, there was hardly NO ONE on. But that quickly changed. It was PACKED in the middle. We even witnessed some snobby people. SIGH. But when we got to the airport, we went to wait at Hoilihans, upstairs. That is the exact location where we first met Yuliya. I thought it be cool to re-unite there, plus there wasn't anyone up there. But after an hour of waiting for them, we had rotated between up and downstairs. I even almost fell asleep. That was before Matt pounced me. SIGH. BOYS.... FINALLY after an hour of waiting, I saw them coming through the exact entrance we had first seen Yuliya come through. Yuliya came running towards us immediately. She got to Matt first, then Ash then me. Once I hugged her, my nervousness was gone. First thing Mom noticed was my hair and was telling me how much she loved it. I got it all in camera, but I was to busy hugging everyone and telling everyone hi. after moment of realization that it was all over.. we left to the Marta. We had a fun time on the way back. Mom and I sat together, chatting as much as we could. she's been sick so it was hard for her to talk. I was impressed with how much English Yuliya has learned. I noticed Dad and Lauryn call her Yule. I've alternated between Yule and Skeeter. I prefer Skeeter. we tried to explain to her how Ashleys nick name is Ash, Sashy or Squish. Lauryns Lulu, and I'm Morg. (YES, I am called that 24/7) On the Marta she was tired, but managed to play with THE Matts. When we got to steak and shake, The waiter asked: "seven?" Dad replied: "No, six" But Mom quickly corrected: "No.. 7" ... I said in English, that I needed to wash my hands, and Yuliya understood me.. I think she might have said Me too, but maybe not. While I was putting my purse down at the table, she asked- "Wash hans?" rubbing her hands together. When we got to the table and ordering, Yuliya swore she was not hungry. But she wolfed down her burger, before I was even halfway done with mine. The waiter kept bringing us refills of coke cups.. We all sucked them down. Especially, Mom, Dad, Lauryn an Yule. They don't have ice in Ukraine or at least they dont put it in their drinks. So you can imagine we had lots of refills. However, most of them were mine.... I usually have at least 3 refills for every meal. Yuliya teased me, by shoving all the cups towards me, and in her Russian accent say: "six!?" she insisted on taking a pic of me. ;) It began feeling more normal that she was our sister this time. And we were excited. And I really really realized that, everything was going to be different now. In a good way. On the way home almost everyone was asleep. I know Lauryn and Yuliya was. Yuliya was so happy when we got home. She was the first one in the house, and when I made it into our room, she was petting Sophie, who was on her bed. She had the brightest smile on her face, as she walked around examining the room, and looking at the pics on our wall. She wanted to take a shower, but Dad was already taking one, so she said: "PJ's" and changed and quickly jumped into bed. I was like :"OK" After that, I went into Mom and Dads room to chill. I showed Mom the Hope quilt that I had completed and I discussed with them how I think I would like to give it to her. But that I think is about it. I tried to get to sleep, but I couldn't. Around 11 I snuck into the kitchen to grab the laptop case. I originally went to Matt's room, but he kicked me out. So I'm huddled in my closet. Looks like we got another sleep talker. Yule's been talking a little bit. LOL. I think that's it peoples. pictures will be with this post soon.

Tuesday morning I awoke to the pretty sunshine streaming through my window. I was really glad because we were shooting the last day of Robin Hood today! I looked at my window to see the water droplets shining and literally sparkling because the sun was shining hard on them. After taking a few pics, my phone rang, it was my friend - We had to iron out a few details about meeting and such, so after that I got out of bed. I got on the computer first, to check email, Facebook, blogs and pinterest. After that, I cleaned and made sure I had everything ready for the long day ahead. After that, getting ready, packing up, we made it out the door, to Publix first thing. While walking in, I realized: "Oh poo, it's school day" And I was right, we got stares and questionable looks from people. When we got to the register, the lady (She was really sweet) asked us why we weren't in school. I blurted out- "Homeschooled" I hate it when people ask us that. Sigh. I know my ABC'S ! I CAN READ!" After that, we were at Granny's early so we chatted for a little while until Miss Hollie came to pick us up. When we got to our destination we ate lunch and quickly hit the woods to FINISH Robin Hood. We worked. HARD. It was by far the best shooting day ever! I have learned a lot during this process of Robin Hood, and I am grateful to my Mom and Miss Hollie for letting us make it in the middle of their lives. :) It's been a great experience. I think I was more relaxed this time, because I KNEW we were going to finish. Which allowed me to laugh a lot today. I always laugh on set, but it was different that time. One particular scene, -that is one of my fav- Was where I was hit and thrown to the ground. It was fun but man.... I had a semi headache afterwards because I got hit, thrown, sat on, you name it. It was intense. But I laughed a lot during that scene and man I was dirty! I had mud and dried dirt all over my arms and costume. When we were DONE, I had everyone sign my book and their quote. The results were funny, and I framed a copy of it on my wall. :) When we got back to Granny's to leave, I dropped my cell phone in the parking lot. I could care less, but when I got home, I discovered my screen now has a HUGE crack across it. Oh well. Matt and I visited with Big Matt for a few minutes, and when he left , Matt and I watched the results of our HARD days work. After that I quickly posted all the pictures I could and blogged like crazy... And maybe... Pinned like crazy too. LOL When Ash got home, we started working on our welcome home signs for Mom and Dad, telling Ash all about our day. When Matt got home, he brought cookies, so we baked those and of course Ash wanted to watch Courageous again, so we did that. Big Matt came in during the beginning and said: "I'll watch 2 cookies worth" He watched the whole thing. That's a really good movie... After that, we were all pooped so we went to bed.

Day 10 completed

I don't remember... OH yeah. I got up yesterday and Ash and I ran errands all day, taking a quick detour to Atlanta Bread Company for lunch. When we were done we quickly went back to the house, cuz Ash had to get ready for work. When we arrived home, it was freezing! Ash and I BANGED on the door , but no response. We called several times. But Matt did not answer. We continued this, even moving to the sliding glass door, yelling and banging. Finally I opened the sliding glass door as far as it could go, because it was locked- and I hollered for Matt. Finally Matt came out, he had been in the shower. After that escapade, Ash made made it to work. Matt and I prepared for our Robin Hood shoot the next day. We cleaned, we pinterested, we played. You know. Around dinner time, I had a coffee cake in a cup recipe, and Matt and I played around with that, It came out OKAY but not as good as the picture below. When Ash and Matt got home from work, we hung out for a few minutes then ran to Home Depot, cuz Matt was needing some more paint sticks to make his daggers with. When we left we ran by McDonalds and picked up a few sundaes. YUM ♥.
When we got home, we were all pretty pooped, so everyone started moving towards bed.

P.S the first thing Matt noticed when we were locked outside was my leftover sandwich from Atlanta Bread CO. It wasn't "Oh guys I'm sorry!" it was : "Can I have your sandwich?!"

Day 9 complete

This morning I awoke around 7:15, but closed my eyes for a minute .. Next thing I know it was 10 something. Ashley came in to tell me bye, and when she'd be back home. When I GOT out of bed, Matt was on Skype with Mom. They talked for a while , while I stayed on the bed watching . After they were done chatting, I checked all my blogs, Facebook notifications and email. And chatted Mom for a few minutes. After that, I had breakfast, and started working on my Hope Quilt. I FINISHED IT after 2 hours of work. Pics will be up later on. :) It has been such a blarg day, so Matt and I mostly chilled. I took some phone calls and cleaned a little . I watched a little bit of "While you were sleeping", and Matt worked on his stories. I pinterested for a little while... Those following me can see that... Matt made cheesy chicken corn chowder for dinner. He whooped it up in like 20 minutes, but it was still really good. :) When Matt and Ash got home, we sat around the table, Matt and I eating out Hot fudge sundaes from McDonalds, and stealing any leftover fries. I watched some of Fireproof today too. I love that movie. And hmm.. OH I listened to 'Safe and Sound' a LOT today. I drove Matt crazy. OH OH, and I left my FB page up for like 2 minutes and walked away. Next thing I know, I have notifications about a post that I SUPPOSEDLY wrote saying: "I eat poop, and I love it" Lets just say NEVER leave your FB page up when your brother in law is near.....
LOL after that, everyone is either in bed or going to bed except me.. (Been to busy pinning).

Hmm. Yesterday I awoke to my cousin in the kitchen. It was around 8 something. When I finally dragged myself out of bed and into the kitchen, Haley said; "She's awake can I go get my thing now Grandma?" I laughed and replied: "It's only 8 o'clock Haley" We spent the rest of the day visiting with Grandma and Haley until Noonish when Ash got home. She brought us Mcdonalds for lunch. We aint Mcdonalds fans , but it was pretty good for a rainy day. After that we both talked. After a while we went to the computers and chilled. A little while later, I went up to the shop to finish some quilt squares for the Hope Quilt. After I left we all chilled, and big Matt was here. While Matt and Ashley talked I got inspired to try some jewelry making. I made a pair of feather earrings and a feather hair piece. Which both came out really good. After that, Matt had to go to work. We played Mexican Train after dinner. Which was fun, cuz we were all screaming laughing and goofing off. WE played till the end, because we literally ran out of bone yards. We then all sat down and watched Leap Year. Matt was like : "Yeah lets watch Leap Year!" I only saw him watch the beginning and the middle. Boys! After a while Big Matt got home from work. Lil Matt had gone to bed, and me and Ash were pinteresting and etsy-ing. Matt and I were starving. We went to go raid the pantry, but we weren't up to fixing Macn cheese, or Ramon noodles, so we called Papa Johns, (Papas Pizza was closed) We found out that it would take almost an hour for them to deliver it to us. So I went to bed hungry.But I don't know about Matt. For all In know he might have ordered that pizza!

Day 7 complete

Friday morning I awoke suddenly to the sound of Skype going off. I groggily walked over to the computer and answered to the smiling wide awake faces of Mom and Yuliya. Moms smile disappeared when she saw I was still half asleep. She was like : "Turn off Skype if your still asleep!" LOL. Groggily I some how said something. Mom told me Yuliya had something to show me, and after looking a moment ,she shoved her passport into the computer lens. I clapped and said : "YAYAY!!" But that was all I can remember of that. I think after that Mom told me go back to bed. Once I crawled back in bed, I got a text from a friend saying that he wasn't sure if we could shoot Robin Hood today because it was cold and rainy. After taking care of that, I drifted off again. I sorta awoke to a vibrating sound coming through my pillow. My friend was calling. I answered to Anna's voice in the receiver.She was telling me how she did not think today we could shoot. We talked a while discussing what we were going to do then I hung up. I felt bad because in the mornings my voice sounds like I am really upset and crying. I later discovered Anna thought I was really upset that we couldn't shoot. I assuredly told her I was not upset, that was just my voice in the morning LOL. When we got to there house we played tag for a little while, and then us girls had a photography session. After a while I asked if we could please go shoot some things, because it had cleared up. But I had not brought all the costumes, so we had to improvise. We shot some scenes for about an hour, but due to not having HALF the costumes we could not get much done. But I did get some pretty good footage. When we go home we awaited my Grandmother and my 6 year old cousin-Haley- to arrive. When they did we all hung out a while, then ran to the store for breakfast, then Papas Pizza for dinner with my uncle. When we got home, my uncle (who is a photographer)
and I spent an hour checking out cameras. We came across a steal of a deal on eBay. However it will take me a while to save up for it. Poo. After that we started getting Haley into bed. After that, I had my uncle check the basement for Boogieman's. After he left we all fell into bed around 8 something. I did not get to sleep until 2 something. But no biggie.

Day 6 complete

Thursday , Ash and I went shopping all over the place. WE went to Plato's Closet on opening day- It was a MADHOUSE. After that we went to Atlanta bread company for lunch, then Rue 21 where I got some really cute outfits. So excited. After that we went to the Oakwood Goodwill, and the Kroger to return Courageous. And we went to Micheal's. Ash had high hopes to go junking for all her Pinterest crafts, but I was the only one who came with anything. LOL When we got home, we chilled with Matt for an hour then we packed up to go to Yonah Burger for dinner. We were going to go the theater to see Joyful Noise, but the tickets we had , had already expired. Poo. So we went to Red-Box and we rented "The Shunning" and "A series of unfortunate events" We started that first but Ash was like, "Okay I can't sit and watch this right now" So we watched the Shunning. We now shun that movie. It ended in like the middle of it! So we also watched "While you were sleeping" That was really good. And funny. After that we went to bed. But late, we had just eaten almost a whole platter of cookies.

Day 5 completed

Hmmm... This morning I got up and.. I don't remember what I did. I think I came and hung out in the bedroom with Ash and checked my email and Facebook. Not finding a cereal that appealed to me, I ate 2 special K bars.
Few hours later Ash had to go to work, but I got to work. I did the laundry, kitchen and started working on the last details for our hopefully last shooting day for Robin Hood this Friday. I hope we finish it. Can't wait to start editing it. We saw Mom today on Skype. And yes Yuliya was happy to see us. :) We are ready for them to be home. But I gotta confess, while doing laundry today, I kinda got scared. Not because Yuliya was coming, but because this long journey is going to be over and that a NEW journey is about to begin. It really really hit me that this is all about to be over soon. :( When Ash got home, we watched Courageous again. I only teared up at one scene this time, but I know Ash cried. Oh and Matt wanted to make a movie today, so I made it with him. :) It's called 'Surprise Purse'. Just a short silent film. If I have time I will post it on YouTube later. But that's about it.

Day 4 Completed

*Sniff* Were fine.... Okay if you must know! We just finished watching the movie Courageous.. And NO I did not cry... Okay that's a lie... Okay maybe I boo-hoo-d half the movie... There are so many tear jerking parts in there!! Matt walked in on one of the most crying scenes.. He took one look at me and Ashley and said: "NO! NO! NO!" Ash and I were bawling at that point. And yes he said this to us with tears almost rolling out of his eyes. Well anyhoo Today.. We got up and we went to Micheal's for some small doweling rods. Matt has been making arrows for our Robin Hood movie. I was determined not to have such a boring and unproductive day like yesterday. So I cleaned my room today (Applause?!) And the living room, and the dining room, and the cat litter, and the laundry and took care of the doggies. I came across this hilarious video today via Facebook about the 7 lies of Homeschooling. Ash heard me listening to that while she was doing her hair- She ran out : "I want to see something funny!" Oh and that reminds me- She's still all green thumb right now- (Which isn't a bad thing, it's actually quite amusing to watch) Like when we were in Micheal's checking out, and the dude put our stuff in a bag- She reached across and said:"No thanks we will just carry it ourselves" LOL. We also got to Skype Mom and Dad today..And guess who was with them?!! Yuliya!! YAY. We were very glad to see her. And I have to say, it really hit me hard when I saw her. Because I really realized that " Omg I have another sister" (That was a good 'omg' btw) Matt and I were very productive today-working and cleaning. I did not spend HALF the time on the computer like I did yesterday... Oh and I thought I'd be nifty and put a frozen piece of fried chicken in a skillet on the oven eye.... Okay maybe I burned it and the inside was still cold, plus there was like no meat on it... So now that I think about it- I had a Special K chocolate chip bar, saltines and five cups of water for dinner. Oh and popcorn. I also put a ton of mascara on today because after we watched Gone With The Wind, I thought I'd try it, and now I am scraping it off with my fingernails-and It was hard while we watched Courageous because its not waterproof. But I managed not to look like a raccoon. Eh. I don't look good in makeup -So why bother!?... Hmmm I can't think of anything else interesting to write soooooo... I am going to get off . Day 3 completed

It's to quiet around here... We miss you Lauryn!! Matt and I thought it be the same without her here, but we were wrong... It's way to quiet, no Lauryn telling us her latest Horse Study news, Or no Lauryn running through the house laughing and screaming. Sigh. Yesterday was nothing exciting. Ash had to go to work, so Matt and I ate, computer, read or wrote, computer, bow and arrow practice , computer, ate, then when Ash got home, we continued our movie Gone With The Wind. After that, Ash and I toured around pinterest a little, then we went to bed. After YELLING at Matt to turn his mp3 down, (I could make every song he was listening to out, He keeps the volume like all the way up) I finally fell asleep. Though not before Mama kitty had a war with me. She wanted to lay on me , I did not want her to lay on me, she wanted to lay on me, I did not want her to lay on me ect.. We compromised though. She laid beside me, though I rolled over on her a few times using her as a pillow. She just purred. Sweet Mama kitty. :) Well that, is all there is to write.

Yesterday.. Are you kidding me? At this point I don't even remember my last name. Hmm. But I shall try to recall yesterdays events.
Got up, ate, computer. Ashley and I were on for a little while. Ash had gone pinterest crazy yesterday. What she went crazy about? Green living!
We went to the grocery store to pick up some cheese for our dinner, but Ashley ended making a quick detour through the healthy foods aisle. So of course she had to have some of the healthy milk and such. When we got to the check out, Ash picked up our grocery's and says: "We no use plastic bags" LOL. I replied: "I know what my blog post is going to be now" We then came home and had lunch. Tomato sandwiches, saltines, pico de galo and some of our new healthy milk. After that we just chilled. I chatted some besties for a little while, then we ate dinner. Ashley ran off to her apartment for a little while to clean. During that time, I knew Matt and I needed a break from the computers, so we went outside and shot the bow and arrow at a foam mat thing I have. However before Matt and I went outside , He put on some cookies. When we were coming back in, Rusty was barking and I smelt smoke from the walkway. I ran in to find our cookies burnt to a crisp, and smoking. I made Matt rinse them off before he threw them in the trash. After that, and Ash and Big Matt came home, they brought us some Mcdonalds sundaes, so we ate that. After Ash showed Big Matt all her new pins on pinterest, we couldn't decide upon a movie. Ash and I ended up watching the first half of Gone with the Wind. After the first part we went to bed. And that is how day 2 was completed.....

Day 1 completed

Well this morning of good-byes was much easier then the last time. Last time, we were all entering into the unknown. This time, I don't remember seeing anyone cry, however I know Mom was going to ;) After they left , there was like nothing to do, and it was only like 8:40 something in the morning. We watched the clock move. 9:00 o'clock... 9:01... 9:02... The clock ticked bye.. We spent our time on the computer and getting ready for when Ash got here. We were going to run errands.. And yes we went to Chick-fil-a. Randomly while we were there, some kid in the middle of the restaurant started singing:
"If your happy and you know it clap your hands!" on she went. When she was finished everyone clapped and cheered. Next thing I knew the manager was giving her a card with some free thing on it. LOL. After errands, we came home and chilled. I decided to read some of my hunger games. RIGHT at the conclusion of an intense chapter Ashley snaps me out of my world by saying : "You ready to go to blockbuster?" My heart was beating so fast and I was breathing hard. I didn't realize how enthralled with my book I was LOL! When we got to blockbuster we saw a sign saying that there were moving to online and that they weren't renting movies anymore, but selling them. They had a bunch of DVDs for $5. Ash got a few, but we were disappointed that we couldn't rent the movies we wanted, because red box didn't have them. Ashley and I talked a lot about Hunger Games and Twilight in the car. I talked her into reading it, however she aint reading it tonight cuz I am going to re-read some of my favorite parts :) We got home and had a feast of meatballs, rice and cold potatoes and some chocolate hazel nut ball. ... Not sure what it's called, but I knew Lauryn loved them . Lauryn said she liked the plane, and that she was excited. :) During our meal Matt and I showed Ash some of our Robin Hood footage from the other day. We laughed then I quickly returned to my book..... When I finished it, I nearly blew up! How dare they end it on that note! Now I have to read the 2nd one! And wasn't I telling Dad how stupid the 2nd one looked last night? LOL After that I chatted a bestie for a while then toyed on the computer. Since we had nothing better to watch we watched Nancy Drew... Not exactly the more grown up movie I was wanting to watch but OKAY. LOL And, uh their is really nothing else to write except Matt and Ash were behind me a second ago laughing at some Medea video. Oh Lerd...
Well all in all, it has been a rather quiet day. :)

Well... We have enjoyed our last 2 weeks with Mom and Dad. But this Saturday they will again make the journey to Ukraine to PICK up Yuliya. day 16

Well we had a very nice Snoggle tog. For those of you wondering what it is, it is a holiday invented by Dream works for the How To Train Your Dragon Christmas special, where their Christmas is Snoggle Tog. We adapted it and made it where your parents are in a foreign country and you have only your siblings to celebrate it. We got up around 9 something then headed out to the living room to open presents .We all went one at a time. We went in rounds where Lauryn opens one, Matt, me and so forth. The first gift I opened was I think Matt's to me.. It was film decor!!! I was really excited. The next round I opened Ashley to me and It was a frame that she had put buttons all over. It was really cute. Next round, I opened Lauryn's gift and It was more film decor!!! I was really excited. The next round I opened THE BIG BOX. Inside was a little table that Ash had made into a portable ironing board, with some pretty material. I like it a lot. Ash had also made me a washer necklace, and one for my other sisters as well ;) After everyone had opened gifts , we ran to iHop for Snoggle Tog breakfast because we discovered our food went bad and we wanted iHop anyway. Of course all us kids had funny faces.. DUH. They are awesome! We ran by Matt and Ash's apartment after that and fed the cast and us girls lounged while The Matt's played on of Big Matts new game. Well at least me and Ash did.. Lauryn played with Bill and Panther and ran around on her stick horse the whole time. after that we swung by Big Matts parents house and we visited there for a while. after that we went home, chilled, had Chinese for dinner and ran off to the theater to see War Horse. I liked it. Much better then all the other horse movies I have seen. Big Matt told me he thought it was lame or cheesy. I said: "I live with Lauryn, and If you have seen all the Horse movies I have, you would not think It was cheesy." LOL. After that we ran back by the apartment to feed Bill and Panther then home. Ashley and I watched half of her new movie The Help. It was REAAALLLLYYY good. I liked it a lot. It was late so we both went to bed . And THAT is what we did for Snoggle Tog.

Day 15

This morning began like any other. Got up, ate, chores and prepared for our friends who came over . We played on the trampoline, hiked across the woods, played hide and seek in the dark and of course ate cupcakes.... Today's been an okay day. I am thankful for My family and friends who have helped us and been here.

I am sorry I did not post yesterday... We were very busy at our Family's Christmas dinners and such. I don't remember it very well because we all were very tired... But we had fun and a good time.

Day 13

Hi.
Today we got up and Skyped Mom and we chilled and got ready to go to the bowling alley. Once we got there we played two games and I don't think any of us was paying attention to the score board. So I can't tell you who won. I was so glad I got some certain angle pics of the Christmas tree at the alley. (pics in picture tab) When we were done and had gotten all our stuff and passed some snobby girl, we ran out into the rain to get in Matt's car. We went to Stevi B's for dinner and it was good, but I prefer Yonah Burger. We all realized that we each still had Christmas shopping to do, so Ash and I went somewhere and Big Matt took Little Matt and Lauryn somewhere. While Ash and I were walking out of (not telling) It was POURING down rain! So while walking out and passing a creeper, Ash said: "Ready! Run!" It was raining so hard I felt like I was in a movie, where everything seems so far away while running the rain... When we got in the car we were soaked through... After that we came home , wrapped presents, cleaned up then jumped on the couch to watch ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. We just watched the first half. I wanted to add something about the snobby girls at the Bowling Alley.. I wont go into detail but Sometime in the day, a verse I have been contemplating is: "Love puts up with anything" The more I think about it the more I realize that this is definitely an area in me that I need to pay heed to. So anyway I thought my Mom would enjoy reading that ;) Oh and we made milkshakes I forgot about that.... Please pray for my parents that they will get their court date soon..

Day 12

Today we slept a little late. When we got up I went straight to the computer to see my Facebook, Skype and and email. After about 2 hours we finally were all ready for our busy Christmas shopping day. We went all OVER GAINESVILLE!!!! We did not get home until 5 or 6. After that we came home and we all worked on a few things. Like wrapping presents and finishing presents LOL. We then turned on a movie Ash thought I would Like: Seven wives for Seven Brothers. It was really cute, set in the 1800's in Oregon. In the middle of it we were really wanting some sugar though so we made a quick trip to Kroger to raid the candy aisle. When we returned Big Matt was here and we finished our movie. However the audience had changed on the movie... For instance, Little Matt was on the computer while big Matt was watching it with us. He called from the other room: "Hey Matt come watch this documentary about stupid old movies" However we laughed at that. Oh and this morning I saw on Facebook my Mom had posted The Hobbit Trailer. We were excited to see it!! It looks great, however I think that the reason I like it , is because it looks more like just a regular movie, just a small story that gets wrapped up in the end. It looks great.
We have had fun today, however Mother Nature has been depressed today, which has come down on the world making it a rather glum muggy day. It does not feel like Christmas over here.... In fact I sorta forgot about Christmas. I can't wait till Mom and Dad get home... with Yuliya. I am ready for routine again and structure. Our lives have all been up in the air since April, and we are all looking forward to when our lives get back to normal. However we realize that it will not be the same once Yuliya arrives. Matt , Lauryn, Ashely and I's close circle at Home will have to be stretched to fit another person in. We know their will be challenges.. But we believe that this time of fundraising, and working has really prepared our hearts for whats ahead. We love Yuliya.. And we can't wait until she arrives home, and we call her Sister..
HOWEVER: I can't say that I am looking forward to Big Matt and Ash leaving either. We have really liked having them here and we will be really sad when they go back to there own home... 7 minutes away.... LOL. This time with them has definitely strengthened our relationship with them, and each other.

And yes we went to Yonah Burger for lunch!! And it was delicious!!

Today has been so boring...
All we have done is get up, chores and I have been working on Christmas presents... Ash will be home later and I have no idea what we will do...
Sorry that this post is rather dull, but the day has been rather dull and gloomy.

Boys future movie trailer

Day10

Yesterday was day 10 and I forgot to post. So I will now.

We got up around 8 something getting ready for our guest that would be soon be here. After cleaning and hanging out with Big Matt and Ash,our guest arrived and we went outside to shoot the boys movie. However we did not get much done, but we still had some fun. After the movie we went inside to watch Robin Hood bloopers and lunch. After that the boys "had" to have their Xbox time, so us girls went out on the trampoline and did lots of photography. We played some epic games of Hide and go seek for a good while. That was fun and one lame game of CTF. After our guests left we all ate a Hodge Podge dinner (eat whatever we want) And Big Matt and Ash got home from work and we made more pretzel rod candies. And the we sat down to watch the movie ANNIE. I am sure in a couple years if we watch that with Yuliya she would just laugh! ;) But nothing really new to report.

Day 9

Hmmmmmm I do not know what to write today since their was like nothing going on. This morning I had to apologize to my dogs for sleeping a little late. Okay well here's what happened: for some reason the heat was off all night and it was only 56' in the house! I woke up at 8 and said to myself at 8:30 I will take them out since it was sooooo cold. Next thing I knew it was 11 and I got up and took them out. I told them I was sorry and I am sure they forgave me because they were so happy to finally see me up!LOL. After the animals were fed I came into Moms room and talked with Ash for a few minutes and just turned the computer on, when Mom was skyping us. I saw my Facebook for a split second with 16 notifications all from MOM lol. :) After skyping Mom for a little while , Ash and I got to work and cleaned the house which was somewhat of a disaster. I quickly set to my room, which looked like a tornado had hit it. Twice. After the house was cleaned, Matt and Lauryn returned from Grandmas house. after that we chilled and then went to the store. we are going to make pretzel rod candies tonight. :) Right now Lauryn is watching Monte Carlo, Matt doing the laundry, Ash on her laptop and me writing this post. Big Matt will be here later and we will all make the candy, I will post pics later in the picture tab.

day 8

Last night after Matt and Lauryn left for Grandmas house, Me and Ashley ran to blockbuster for a couple of chick flicks. We watched Monte Carlo and Sweet Home Alabama , which were both really good. after we finished those movies it was around 11:30, then we took a break and we just talked on the couch for a little while, and before I knew it, it was 2:15 AM. We then turned on spider man 2 and watched about maybe an hour of it. then we conked. I got up this morning at 9:13 and took the dogs out. I then jumped back on the couch and fell asleep till 11. After Ash and I were both up and ready, and after a few phone calls and hair doo's we got to skype Mom, who has our Indian Pen pal staying with them! I got to meet Jijo for the first time. He was really nice and I enjoyed talking to him. :) after that Ash and I did some Christmas shopping, then stopped at Panera for lunch, then all over town for a few hours of "Intense" Christmas shopping. I think I got almost all of it done. Right now we are pooped from it all, I think we are going to watch Monte Carlo again and then ht the sack. Goodnight. P.S pics on picture tab. Day 7

Well last night my grandmother stayed the night with us, We visited and chatted and ran errands. To be honest their wasn't anything interesting today. But onne highlight was I was on the computer chatting a bff, when, the phone rang, my papa was leaving and then my cell phone rang. It was a mad house over here. I was having a problem with concentrating on my chat with Papa getting out the door and finding my brother so he could have the phone and swapping phones with Lauryn so I could talk to Ashley who was on my cell. After it calmed down a LITTLE bit , I went back to my chat but still couldn't concentrate so I just called my friends on the phone and we talked a little bit. Grandma left a little while ago with Matt and Lauryn. They'll be back Sunday though. So me and Ashley are having girls night out for 2 nights, plus a whole day of shopping tomorrow ;). We skyped Mom a few times ,and she posted some new pics on Facebook, which I will put in the picture tab. Please pray for My parents and all of our safety. I am going to miss Matt and Lauryn this weekend. :'( . So keep us in your prayers. P.s some of the pics on the picture tab were not taken today.. My favorites are the face shots of Yuliya. oh ad p.p.s the pics of the kitten my mom says that it was running in the hall and Yuliya caught it for mom. Mom said the kitten stunk really bad, and yes we have already asked to keep it but nooooooooooooooooo . LOL love you Mom. :)

day 6

This morning we woke up late due to going to bed at 1 last night. I got up and took care of the dogs, then sat down to eat a bowl of magical Lucky Charms with Big Matt. (Oh and I had cookies and ginger ale for breakfast too) After that the Matt's went to the dump then to Matts house to play Modern Warfare, (BORINGG). After us girls were all ready we headed out the door to Corinth Baptist Church to practice driving and Parking. All of us kids drove in the huge parking lot, but while I was learning parallel parking with Big Matt a HUGE helicopter landed about a hundred feet in front of us IN THE PARKING LOT. Their had been a wreck around the corner from us and it was really bad. After the helicopter left and the traffic that had been unstopped a little, we headed across the road to Sun Garden for delicious Chinese food. After lunch we headed next door to a consignment store and looked around a little bit. Ash found a really pretty dress, and good thing I was there because she wouldn't have got it if I had not talked her into it. LOL :) We then went home and chilled a little bit , and waited for Grandma to come. After some small partying I am here now writing this post. We are all really tired, so we will probably go to bed earlier. Will post pics soon, so check the picture blog. :)

day 5

Day five started with us getting up, chores, school, skyping Mom and Dad, reading and then dinner and TV. Big Matt got home before Ash so we played around a lot... Like turning off all the lights and scaring the crap out of each other. LOL. When Ash got home we all packed up into the car, heading to Kroger. (10:00pm) After getting the essentials we got a few goodies like ice cream and cookies and such to party. We rented Kung Fu panda 2, and stayed up till 1 am watching it with our goodies. Then we conked for the night all sleeping super hard. OH and during the afternoon Lauryn and I baked some cookies while rocking out to Adele. It was fun.
Oh and to those who have been wondering Mom and Dad have seen Yuliya already. I will post a pic...
During this journey without Mom and Dad we have been learning how to obey our conscience to a deeper degree. And while we see the pictures of Ukraine we know how blessed we are that we have a loving family, food, a home and an amazing free country.

day 4

Sorry I did not post yesterday ... But I will now.
Yesterday morning we got up, cleaned, ran errands with Ash and went to the grocery store to get a few things. While Matt and I were shopping for cereal I picked up Lucky Charms. Now in the McAndrew home all sugar cereal has been band since we were little. We ended up getting it for a few reasons
1- Mom and Dad are gone
2- It was cheaper then that healthy cereal we always get
and 3- I wanted 2. LOL

So anyhoo I worked more on my quilt yesterday. I am almost done with all the blocks. We read for a few minutes then we skyped Mom and Dad, did some school and then watched some TV , while waiting for Matt and Ash to get home so we could "party"
We ate M&Ms, Cookies, water and critiqued- I mean watched Rudolph. Okay I am sorry but all the reindeer's are mean in that movie! And the abominable snowman is ummm........... creepy? I don't know. So after partying hard we all just chilled, got on the computer, and went to bed. Nothing very eventful yesterday. But maybe today. I will write more of day 5 tonight.

day 3

Today is pretty uneventful. We got up around 9:30'ish skyped Mom and Dad, cleaned, got on the computer and chilled. Lauryn started feeling sick again. Ashley and Little Matt ran off to Lancaster music store and I stayed home with Lauryn. Once again Lauryn climbed into bed and watched TV with a trash bag. When they got back Ash and I climbed into bed and watched the movie with Lauryn. After a while Ash had to go to work so us kids cleaned up some more, and skyped Mom and Dad. I chatted a friend for a little while too. I started out my quilt squares and started cutting and sewing Yuliyas Hope Quilt. I got 3 rows done and probably sew more later. Matt Matt is playing piano out of his new book and Lauryn is watching Black Beauty . Its been pretty uneventful and I have nor taken any pictures.. yet. When Ash gets home me and her are running to blockbuster to get a movie then come home eat cookies and watch it. I do not know what we are doing tomorrow, probably school and I will be working on the quilt some more. Who knows...... I might post more on this post later. but if not.. good night.

Day 2

Day one ended where we were ALL exhausted. We went to bed around 9:30 and were out an hour or 2 after that. Lauryn watched the entire flight tracker of Mom and Dads journey from Atlanta to Washington. Yeah she really sat and watched it for an hour.. I was missing Mom near bed time and wanted to text her a few times , even though I knew very well she would not receive them. but I didn't and I soon fell asleep. We miss them a lot over here. I don't know what we are doing over here today.. Probably just chillax. .... I might sew or make a movie, LOL. Ashley and Lauryn are still somewhat nausea's, but Matt and I have been unaffected by the plague. Please keep my parents in your prayers.


A while later Ashley and Big Matt took us to the lake down the road. We shot a silly movie that I will post later. right now I am eating some cold old mac'n cheese but other then watching our masterpiece with Ash and Matt, watching some Robin Hood bloopers , their aint nothing new to report.

Right now we just finished dinner with Big Matt. We had lasagna and bread sticks. After that one of our friends called wanting to speak to Matt. after a little while Matt said he had to go for dinner but would call him back later. Later came and we were playing around with the phone and lets just say I ended up calling friend back. I waited for a minute and heard "Matt?" I was cracking up so hard behind my hand over my mouth. Finally I just let out a laugh scream into the phone receiver. I then shoved the phone into Matts ear and DIED laughing. I don't know what our friend was thinking on the other line but i will soon find out. LOL. Right now Big Matt and Lauryn are playing Texas hold em or shootout or something. Idk. After their quick game were going to watch how To Train your Dragon (again). After that Ash will be home from work and we will watch the finished product of our movie we made on the lake today. First Fight. and hmmmmm I have no idea what we are doing tomorrow , I know I will have to work on the Hope Quilt for Yuliya . But other then that..... idk.

Goodbyes..

The moment finally came.. Mom came over to me and hugged me, already crying and shaking. Which did not help me very much. I couldn't even say I love you I was so choked up, but I managed to in the end. Next was Dads turn who did not cry but I knew he was in the inside and was trying not to. I held on for dear life when the final hug from both of them came. As they started out their way to the car, I took pictures of it ,(which you can view on the picture tab above). I cried when the car got all the way out of sight and then I went inside not sure what to do. It was only me and Lauryn, who was sick. Rusty was giving me this look of "please take me out!" So not finding a leash I went and grabbed the red ribbon Lauryn was playing with. after returning with Rusty I put Lauryn on the couch to watch TV while I posted pics on facebook. Later I went to fix my breakfeast and Rusty was giving me that look again. So AGAIN in the freezing cold I took Rusty out. But this time he just stared at the road and the driveway. Just staring. I realize now he knew they were gone. He was looking for them....

After Ashley and Matt got back from dropping Mom and Dad off at the Marta, we talked and chilled. Lauryn and Ashley are or were playing around with a bead kit Mom got us to work on. After 2 sets of earrings and a necklace Lauryn said : "Well this has been fun!" Ashley just laughed. I don;t know what we will do today, but I am sure we will find something. I promised Mommy I would take lots of pictures and put them in my Fairfarren album on Facebook. I will be posting more soon, probably another post tonight, so keep watch. And before anyone comments about my bad grammar, just deal with it. HAHAHAHAAHHA
